Auckland Central Post Office Restoration External lighting upgrades

Project Overview

This project involved full replacement of the external feature-lighting for the restored historic CPO landmark in Auckland to a tight timeline and with minimum disruption to the public and other contractors. The team installed all lighting to the architectural lighting design requirements, worked within the confines of category 1 historic buildings restrictions, which lead to special innovations such as designing 3D printed brackets to fix lighting to the facade.

Northern Arena Maintenance Contract

Project Overview

Since November 2020 Gloys Group has been the electrical and mechanical maintenance contractor for Northern Area Leisure Centre, an award winning, private fitness facility in Silverdale Auckland consisting of a large gym, 2 Aerobics rooms, RPM room, weights and cardio spaces, 25m training pool, 25m teaching pool, beginners pool, child and caregivers pool along with a physiotherapy suite, shop and café. The ongoing contract includes the provision of all responsive and preventative Mechanical and Electrical services and maintenance.

As the facility is operational for most hours of the day, we’ve developed valuable working arrangements procedures to undertake works in an operational environment ensuring the utmost care is taken to minimise any impact on the public and users of the facility. We’ve also undertaken associated administration to assist the Northern Arena to meet their legislative requirements and obtain the necessary BWOF.
