What are your specialties?
Our roots are in electrical and mechanical installations and upgrades in the residential, commercial and industrial field with an added maintenance service. No job is too big or too small for us.
Will licenced electricians and plumbers be working in my home, building or project?
At Gloys Group all our electricians and plumbers are licensed and we pride ourselves in always keeping up to date with the latest training and development of our team.
Do you provide a warranty?
Gloys Group provides a 6 month warranty on workmanship and a 12 month manufacturer warranty on materials.
Will our power be off for a long time?
We always aim to have the most limited amount of down time while working on any installation. We always endeavour to ensure the safety of our team and members of the public at all times.
Where can I check your registration?
You can check if an Electrician is NZ registered by visiting the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) and entering the Electritian’s name into the public search. Search for Dewald Gloy, or any of our Electritians allocated to your job’s name. People can check whether a plumber is authorised on the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board website www.pgdb.co.nz and can find a Master Plumber on www.masterplumbers.org.nz
Do you have an apprenticeship programme?

What are your rates?
We will never surprise you with a large bill. We provide an obligation free quotation prior to any service rendered. We will commence the service once the quotation has been accepted.
Why do I need a licensed electrician or plumber?
Safety. First and foremost, the main reason why you should hire a professional is for your own safety, your family’s safety, and the safety of your team. Working with electricity, running water or gas can be extremely dangerous if you do not approach it with the right expertise, safety training, and equipment.
When should I call an electrician or electrical company?

How does electrical companies rewire a house or a building?
At Gloys Group, first we assess the situation and after assessment, we determine that this is the requirement. Rewiring is always done by a licensed electrician who strips out the old wiring and runs new wiring throughout the entire house or building. We install new circuit breaker panel to handle the load of the new wiring system and ensure building codes governing electric wiring are met.
Will you issue a Certificate of Compliance?

What is power supply in data center?
Data centers also use DC power circuits, especially in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. DC power circuits are also used to supply current for networking gear as well as IT hardware like routers and switches in data centers.
