To charge an electric car at home, you should have a home charging point installed where you park your electric car. Drivers usually choose a dedicated home charging point because it’s faster and has built-in safety features

An electric vehicle charging station is equipment that connects an electric vehicle (EV) to a source of electricity to recharge electric cars.

We will never surprise you with a large bill.  We provide an obligation free quotation prior to any service rendered.  We will commence the service once the quotation has been accepted.

Safety. First and foremost, the main reason why you should hire a professional electrician is for your own safety, your family’s safety, and the safety of your team. Working with electricity can be extremely dangerous if you do not approach it with the right expertise, safety training, and equipment.

There are several instances when you should call for example, when your house or building wiring hasn’t been updated in decades.  Your outlet switches appear discolored.  There is a burning smell without a proper source, your lights keep flickering, or your circuit breaker trips a lot.  There are also various projects for which you require an electrician and here are some. Electrical panel upgrades. Replacing or repairing plugs and outlets. Adding fixtures like ceiling fans or new lights.

At Gloys Group, first we assess the situation and after assessment, we determine that this is the requirement.  Rewiring is always done by a licensed electrician who strips out the old wiring and runs new wiring throughout the entire house or building.  We install new circuit breaker panel to handle the load of the new wiring system and ensure building codes governing electric wiring are met.

Gloys Group will give you an energy work certificate once we complete the work. Keep these with your other project documents and include them with your code compliance certificate application. Contact us any time if you need more info, or head to building.govt.nz for more information.

A data center is a facility that centralizes an organization’s shared IT operations and equipment for the purposes of storing, processing, and disseminating data and applications. Because they house an organization’s most critical and proprietary assets, data centers are vital to the continuity of daily operations.

Data centers also use DC power circuits, especially in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. DC power circuits are also used to supply current for networking gear as well as IT hardware like routers and switches in data centers.
